Southern NH Bass Series gathered for the highly anticipated kickoff of the 2024 season in challenging conditions at the First Southern NH Bass Series tournament of 2024 at Webster Lake. With the wind gusting and the bass not cooperating, it was a test of skill and perseverance for all.
Despite the tough day on the water, a couple anglers managed to rise to the occasion and secure a limit, as well as a biggen.
Length Top Performers (3 Fish Limit)/Winner:
Brandon Kasper: Making waves in length, Brandon Kasper dominated the leaderboard with an outstanding three-fish limit of 49 inches, earning him first place for length. Additionally, Brandon secured a spot in the Tournament of Champions, an exclusive winner's-only event reserved for the winners in length of each tournament. Great Job!
Logan Brown: With a determined effort, Logan Brown reeled in a commendable three-fish limit from his kayak totaling 41 inches, securing his spot as one of the top performers of the day. Great Job!
Lunker Winner:
Scott Vezina: Amidst the tough conditions, Scott Vezina determination led to the catch of the lunker, a big largemouth measuring 20 inches and weighing an impressive 5 lbs 6 oz. Scott's catch serves as a testament to the excitement that awaits us on every cast. Notably this is also Scott's PB bass as well! Great Job!
Notable Anglers
Thomas Hopkinson and Chris Currier: both secured solid fish, each bringing in two fish totaling 32 inches and biggest weighing 2 lbs 12 oz.
Chad Sweeney: secured 2 fish totaling 30 Inches, no weight given.
Christopher Gambccini: secured 2 fish totaling 28 inches with biggest weighing in at 2lbs.
Jamie Polchies: Secured 1 fish totaling 18 Inches with the biggest weighing in at 3lbs 4oz.
Christopher Geddes: Secured 1 fish totaling 18 Inches with the biggest weighing in at 2lbs 15oz
Josh Feinberg: Secured 1 fish totaling 15 inches with the biggest weighing in at 2lbs 1 oz
