The Battle Of Squam Lake - 2024 Season
The Squam Lake NH Bass tournament of the 2024 season faced early challenges as a storm shortened the fishing hours to 9am - 2pm. Despite the inclement weather, 22 dedicated anglers took to the water, battling tough conditions for their chance at the Tournament Of Champions.
Length Winner & Tournament Of Champions Angler:
In a standout performance, Jim Younce secured the Length victory, solidifying his spot in the Tournament of Champions. Jim mastered the conditions, landing an impressive three-fish limit totaling 56 inches & a 3lb 14oz lunker, showcasing his skill and determination! Jim caught his fish on a mix of chatter bait & fluke with a chartreuse tail!
Lunker Winner:
Kyle Richard made his mark with a notable 4 lb'er, earning him the Lunker title. It was his only fish of the day, but he made the 1 fish count! Kyle caught the lunker on a craw crankbait!
Notable Catches:
Thomas Hopkinson with a 3 fish limit totaling 53" and a 3lb 2oz Lunker.
Paul Labreck with a 3 fish limit totaling 46".
Corey Sullivan with a 3 fish limit totaling 45" with a 1lb 10oz Lunker
