Tournament of Champions Recap
Yesterday, the Southern NH Bass Series hosted the Tournament of Champions on a typical chilly fall morning, launching from Back Bay under foggy conditions that quickly lifted. Fourteen talented anglers competed for the top spot, showcasing their skills in pursuit of victory.
Champion and Notable Catches:
Jamie Polchies emerged as the champion with an impressive total of 81 inches across five fish, demonstrating his exceptional angling abilities throughout the tournament.
Jon McGlashan secured second place with a total of 76 inches and also claimed the Lunker title with a 2 lb 15 oz smallmouth, marking a highlight catch of the day.
Tied Competitors: Tim Skwiot, Tony Nappo, and Josh Feinberg all finished with a total of 74 inches from five fish. The exact placements were determined by exact quarter inches:
Tim Skwiot at 72 inches
Tony Nappo at 71.5 inches
Josh Feinberg at 71.25 inches
Other Notable Catches:
Chad Sweeney finished with 71 inches from five fish.
Karl Ingoldsby caught 30 inches from two fish.
Tom Hopkinson caught 28 inches from two fish.
Chris Gambaccini, Brandon Kasper, and Evan Sowa all caught 17-inch fish, with Chris at 16.5 inches, Brandon at 16.25 inches, and Evan at 16.25 inches.
Carsen Feinberg caught a solid 16-inch fish.
Jackson Mercer rounded out the day with a 15-inch fish.
